Usage Recommendations

At Home: use every 2 to 3 days (use PM)

1. Cleanse the skin with gentle cleanser.
2. Apply 1 pump VitaSpicule Glow on the skin.  Apply evenly to each area of the face; forehead, cheeks and neck, avoid the eye area. Some toner can be added to bring more slip to the product. We suggest the product is massaged into the skin using circular movements for up to 10 minutes. For thin and fragile skin, please reduce the operation time.
3. After the product is absorbed, we suggest applying a hydrating facial mask (such as Spongilla Tech Ice Calming Mask or Sequential Skin mask or GERnétic/Nimue peel off mask). Leave on the skin for 15-20 minutes.
4. Use a moist towel to remove any residue from the skin.
5. Apply a moisturiser containing NO Retinol or AHA/BHA actives. GERnétic Synchro cream is recommended.
6. Next day continue your usual skin care routine but avoid AHA,BHA or Retinol.
7. Use an SPF and avoid the sun.

Salon use

1. Cleanse the skin with gentle cleanser, such as Nimue Cleansing Gel.
2. You may use an LED Light prior to treatment application.
3. Apply 1 pump Spicule Revitalizing Gel on the skin evenly to the face in each area; forehead, cheeks and neck, avoid the eye area.  A serum such as Nimue Superfluid can be added to bring more slip to the product. Massage the product into the skin for 10-15 minutes. For thin and fragile skin, please reduce the operation time.
4. You may carry on with your usual facial protocol, but avoid AHA, BHA and Retinol.
   • Be advised that 20-30x more penetration of skin care actives will be absorbed as 50 thousand spicules will be implanted per treatment, creating micro channels.
   • Clients may feel a prickling sensation - this is normal.
   • If you decide to massage, carry out light effleurage movements so as not to cause too much of a prickling sensation for the clients.
   • A mask may be applied such as Spongilla Tech Ice Calming Mask, a Sequential Skin mask or a GERnétic/Nimue peel off mask). Leave on the skin for 15-20 minutes.



5. To complete treatment, finish with a moisturiser such as GERnetic Synchro.
   • Ask client to avoid sun exposure. It is recommended that the client doesn't cleanse in the evening. This will increase the longevity of the spicule implantation.
   • The client should avoid AHA, BHA Vit A for next 7 days. They may continue with their normal routine, including SPF.
